When we see good stuff, we’ll give it a thumbs up and tell you if it’s “on the map.” Here’s what’s caught our eye lately.
1) Good sign at Home Depot.
Instead of advertising certain plants as “drought tolerant,” a prominent sign in San Carlos, Calif., calls them “water-efficient, low-maintenance plants.” And to drive home the point, note the “save water” image.
2) Nice video for a clever innovation.
All hail the Edible Six Pack Ring. It’s a terrific invention pioneered by a Florida craft brewery to cut down on plastic in the sea and save marine life. Cheers, and here’s hoping the big companies follow Saltwater Brewery’s lead. WATCH: Saltwater Brewery ‘Edible Six Pack Ring’
